I can’t follow through your description to work out what’s happening, but if you are having issues with versions, it will be due to what’s happening in your podfile, podspec and podfile.lock, so look in all those places at the versions they are specifying. If you don’t get any further, I advise putting together a small test case that demonstrates your problem, and posting that on stack overflow or similar. You’ll get a much bigger audience for your problem, and hopefully someone there will be able to help you solve it.
